REXBURG — Sterling Urgent Care held a ribbon cutting ceremony at their Rexburg location Saturday, May 20. To celebrate the official grand opening, the clinic hosted an open-air party, featuring music, prizes, cake, brisket and even a bounce house.

Arlene Barrow, event coordinator at Sterling, explains that at Sterling, “We’re a little different in how we do things. We accept most insurances… but we understand that it can be expensive going to the doctor’s office.”

To help people afford medical care, Sterling offers memberships for $60 a month, or $120 for a family of four and $10 for each additional child. These memberships cover almost all services at Sterling clinics. A membership also provides access to services like X-rays and in-house lab work at discounted prices.

In addition to personal medical care, Sterling also offers occupational health services for employee coverage, including work screenings and case management. More information on services can be found at sterlingurgentcare.com or by visiting the clinic.

Another service Sterling offers to the community is free mission health exams. “We offer mission exams to any denomination. We know this area is highly-concentrated LDS,” Arlene says, “But we offer screening for summer mission trips and other missions as well.”

Although Sterling can be found throughout Idaho, Wyoming and Utah, with the Rexburg location being the fourteenth clinic, it originates close to home. The very first Sterling Urgent Care opened in Idaho Falls after the founder decided to find a way to provide more affordable yet high-quality health care. A fifteenth clinic is set to open soon in Butte, Montana.

Rexburg’s Sterling Urgent Care is located at 136 W Main St, Rexburg, near Broulim’s. Walk-in and scheduled appointments are welcome. To schedule an appointment, call 208-656-7401.
