REXBURG, Idaho — The Rexburg Chamber of Commerce hosted a ribbon cutting Friday for Rexburg’s newest business, Zagg. The business is located at 510 N. Second East and is open from Tuesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Zagg offers repair services and accessories for devices such as iPhones, iPads and Samsung phones. Some accessories they offer are chargers and phone cases. More information on specific products and prices can be found on the company website.
Rexburg store manager Loren Bennion said he and the owner of the store saw a need for the products and services provided by Zagg and thought there was value in opening a store in Rexburg. He said he likes operating stores in smaller communities.
Even though Zagg is a nationwide franchise, often located in larger cities, such as Idaho Falls, Bennion said stores still do well in small towns.
“(It is) very valuable to be part of a small, growing community,” he said.
In addition to phone and tablet accessories, Zagg also offers walk-in appointments for their device repair service. Repair times last between 45 minutes to about two hours, depending on the repair size and type. Screen repairs cost about $150 to $200 and can be done the same day if the parts are in stock.
Bennion drew attention to the quality of the products.
“The quality of our products are the best rated products in the industry for their device protection, phones, and tablets.” Bennion said. “Along with that quality of the products comes lifetime warranties on all of our products. Once you get something, you can keep coming back and keep expecting the same level of service.”
