REXBURG, Idaho—With Valentine’s Day just around the corner, here are some fun ideas to celebrate with your loved ones or friends.

  1. Rock climbing

Rock climbing at The Rock Gym is a great way to get active for a date night especially during the cold months.

  1. Gravity factory

Another fun indoor activity is going to Gravity Factory. They also have a date night deal.

  1. Ice skating

One of the newest attractions in Rexburg is the opening of the new ice-skating rink. Bundle up and show off your moves, or lack thereof, for a fun night. 

  1. Going out to dinner

Rexburg has lots of places for dinner such as Da Pineapple Grill, Original Thai, The Hickory, and more. If you are willing to travel, Idaho Falls has delicious dining options as well.

  1. Splatter Lab

Get messy and creative by going to the Splatter Lab in Rexburg. 

  1. Bowling

Bowling at Fat Cats is always a fun date night idea. You can make it more interesting by doing Skittles bowling as well. You can also catch a movie while you are there or enjoy some games in the arcade.

  1. Country dancing

Country Dancing (available at The Tavern) is a fun way to be active and have a blast. They offer lessons for those that aren’t as confident on the dance floor. Let loose and have fun!

  1. Escape room

Use your minds and try to escape the escape rooms at Rexburg Re-escape.

  1. Build a fort and watch a movie

A fun way to have a less expensive date night is to build a fort near a TV and the relax and watch a movie. Don’t forget your favorite snacks!

  1. Three-course meal from three different restaurants

Call into your favorite restaurants and order a different part of the meal. Then pick it up and take it home or eat it while watching the sunset over town.

  1. Snowboarding/skiing 

Kelly Canyon has lots of runs for anyone ranging from beginner to expert. You can rent gear or bring your own.

  1. LaBelle Lake Ice Palace

Dress in your warmest clothes to experience one of the coolest winter attractions, LaBelle Lake Ice Palace. This beautiful place also has some awesome things to see such as fire shows, ice slides, character meet and greets, and more! This is also a fun place to take the whole family. 

  1. Ice cream 

Keeping it simple and getting ice cream is always a fun way to spend time together. You can always go to an ice cream shop, or you can go to a grocery store and get your favorite ice cream and toppings. Then you can go home and make an epic ice cream sundae. 

  1. Make dinner together or bake your favorite treat

Another fun way to keep the cost down for a date night is to plan out your favorite dinner or dessert and the make or bake it with your loved one. You get one on one time and a delicious meal after.
