REXBURG—Arts-and-crafts enthusiasts in Rexburg had a reason to celebrate on Dec. 26, 2024, when Hobby Lobby officially opened its doors. The new store, located at 125 Valley River Drive, became Idaho’s seventh Hobby Lobby location.

Prior to the store opening, the closest Hobby Lobby was in Ammon. Small stores in Rexburg sell quilting, craft and embroidery supplies, but Hobby Lobby offers all these supplies and more in one convenient location.

According to Hobby Lobby’s Newsroom, “Each store offers over 80,000 crafting and home decor products including floral, fabric, needle art, custom framing, baskets, home accents, kitchen, bath, wearable art, arts and crafts, jewelry making, scrapbooking, party, and paper crafting supplies.”

Rocio Reyes, manager of the new store, shared the company’s enthusiasm about establishing
itself in Rexburg.

“The community has just opened up their arms and they’re so happy we’re here, and we’re so happy to be here,” said Reyes.

Reyes, who dabbles in all kinds of art, including diamond art, jewelry-making and crocheting,says working at Hobby Lobby is a dream job for her. She especially loves the jewelry area of the store.

Customers looking for a good deal can check out Hobby Lobby’s weekly ad and shop in-store or online.

“We have really good sales every week,” Reyes said. “There’s always something on sale.”
