REXBURG, Idaho—Real-life fairy godmother Amanda French is in the business of granting wishes in and around Eastern Idaho.
French has been a Disney lover for decades, and it has always held a special place in her life. After landing her dream job at 19 and working her way through the ranks of Disney World as a performer, she moved back to Idaho and decided to share her talents with her community. She opened Storybook Parties Idaho in 2017 with her Husband, Tony, in hopes of making dreams come true for children all over.
“I loved being a performer,” French said when asked what she loved most about her job. “The best moments are seeing the sparkle in the little one’s eyes meeting their favorite princess or character.”
Storybook Parties offers many different party and event packages. With over 65 different characters to choose from, including Elsa, Anna, Cinderella, Tiana, Merida, and other household names, as well as some original characters like the Unicorn Princess and Dinosaur Sally for the little ones with more specific themes to their parties. There are endless ways to mix, match, and customize an event to create lasting memories of your child’s big day or for your own inner child!
The parties include anything from singing time, interactive story time, princess and superhero classes, games, crafts, and makeovers. Each party has a special oath ceremony for the birthday kiddo to make your child a certified prince, princess, explorer, or adventurer!
The opportunities aren’t limited to private events. Storybook Parties also has a spot at Christmas River as well as Labelle Lake with their Elsa, Anna, and Kristoff! This year, the company has some fun public events lined up in between their bookings for parties. A sing-along concert featuring everyone’s favorite princess songs, a fairy camp, and a charity princess ball this winter!
